Reading Data Collection and Social Media App.

For some time now I have had the idea to create an app to track the topics and locations from where I read online. I want the information I choose to save to be categorized and logged in notebooks that could be shared with others along with the ability for others to contribute between notebooks as well. I think this could be beneficial to track the efficiency in which I learn and see the ways in which other people learn and sources they choose to learn from.

Along with this I could collect reading data via an open source project. I think this data could be beneficial to writers, teachers and publications if they knew what information people were most interested in pertaining to a specific topic. I was inspited by the “Common Voice” project by Mozilla.

I will be using react to create an initial one page app and landing page as well as setting up the backend for storage of notebooks and authentication.
